Syrian street celebration in its second session is organized by Alshare3 foundation of media and development with participation of a group of Syrian civil institutions and supporting forces inside and outside Syria. The events inside Syria: Aleppo, Raqqa, Tal Abyad, Jarablus, Manbeg, Albab, hundreds of freedom candles lighten at Euphrates night. These candles are sent by Jarablus’ men and women as peace messages to destroyed Syrian cities on Euphrates “Raqqa and Der Alzour”. Freedom candles are samples of peace messages that are sent by Syrian street celebration for the entire world. “Freedom, it must be” campaign is an attempt to restore the public space that was stolen twice from the Syrian community by the regime who dominated the community through Hafez Alassad’s status, photos and words in the streets and houses, and today through the writings on the liberated areas walls, for example “Jabhet Alnusra”, by military battalions in Syria that imposed their flags in the streets and demonstrations. Therefore, this campaign is trying to restore the stolen space to the community through coloring the rest of the walls that isn’t destroyed by the regime weapons. The campaign is an invitation to stand in the face of tyrannical dreams may arise again after thousands of Syrians sacrifices for freedom. It will begin in 15 March 2013 in Jarablus, Manbeg, Albab, Saraqeb, Tal Abyad and Raqqa. Freedom cloth- painting on cloth: It’s an interactive work along a street in the liberated Tal Abyad city with participation of tens of children in the city. Children paint their dreams and the details that they love or hate on the cloth with an absolute freedom and without intervention of adults. We will not mention the name of the street because of fearing of the missiles that hate childhood and life. The project is within the activities of the Syrian street celebration in the third anniversary of Syrian revolution. It’s in Tal Abyad and it organized by Alshare3 foundation of media and development, media office and gathering youth of Tal Abyad. “The image is in a word”: within the activities of the celebration of the second anniversary of Syrian revolution, Talbisa coordination participates in photos gallery which entitled “The image is in a word”. It begins from 15 until 18 March 2013 and it’s a presentation for all the martyrs of Talbisa especially the martyr Omar Alhumsi. Street theatre: The celebration will present a group of theatre performances in Manbeg, Jarablus and Albab. The first is dolls theatre in Manbeg, the othor in Jarablus for kids and in Albab will be a theatre work that criticizes the revolution mistakes. Also, many demonstrations, including a demonstration with Qashosh Bostan Alkaser and freedom breeze in Aleppo, will be presented on the occasion of Syrian street celebration. A week of “Cinema Street” in the festival of “Cinema Street”: Within the activities of the celebration of Syrian street in the second anniversary of Syrian revolution, we will present a group of documentaries and short films in Manbeg, Jarablus, Albab and Saraqib. These films were done during the revolution and were produced by Alshare3 foundation of media and development. The events of Turkey and Istanbul: “Cinema street” demonstration in Istanbul 15-16 March is within the Syrian street celebration in many Syrian cities and abroad in the third anniversary of the revolution. It will present a group of long and short films that filmed inside Syria by Syrian directors. Another demonstration named “Freedom walls” in 16 March where Syrian and Turkish younger will paint and spray pictures on a number of Istanbul’s walls. The events of Sweden-Malmo: On Friday 15 March 2013, the revolution will move to Gostaf Adolph yard in Malmo-Sweden. The revolutionary events in Syrian cities and villages, the solidarity activities for detainees and martyrs’ families and collecting donations for field hospitals, all that will be presented live on air. Also, it will be a good chance to deliver questions about the situation there. Alarabia Television: “Our streets … freedom celebration”: in the occasion of the second anniversary of the Syrian revolution, Alarabia channel presents “Our streets … freedom celebration” film by the martyr director Basel Shehadeh, and it will be on Thursday 14 March at 7:30 p.m and it’s produced by Kayaly project of audio and visual arts and Alshare3 foundation of media and development. This film is done by Basil Shehadeh to be presented in the first anniversary of Syrian revolution, but technical problems make it difficult to be presented in that occasion. However, today it will be presented without any adjustments out of respect of the author. The film shows the certificates of activists who participated and lived important moments in the first year of the revolution starting from the demonstration of Umayyad Mosque in Damascus passing Daraa, Homs, Hama and Alsalamya cities. “Signboard”: in the occasion of the second anniversary of the Syrian revolution, Alarabia channel broadcasts “Signboard” film about Kafrnabl city in northwest Syria in which these signboards summarized the Syrian revolution. Those signboards put this forgotten Syrian city on the Syrian map and history and at the same time it summarized the diary and the moments of the central revolution. Who knows what the real suffering of Kafrnabl people was over two years? Or how is their situation and the developments that have occurred? The film tried through those questions to shed light on them and put them in front of the abstract idea about “Kafrnabl- the sign board”. It’s directed by Khaled Abd Elwahed, filmed by Esa Smesem, produced by Alshare3 foundation of media and development and Kayani of audio and visual arts. The premiere was on Alarabia channel in March 2013. Its duration is 22,45 minutes, production of 2013.
